Allison Nicolson

I have lived and worked in Duluth, Minnesota since 1997 when my husband and I married and moved here from Canada! I am a Certified Recreational Therapist and have worked in Duluth’s hospitals for my whole career. I have worked half of my career on a physical rehabilitation unit with patients who have had a stroke, spinal cord or brain injury. I am currently the Injury Prevention Specialist on the Trauma Floor at Essentia Health. I am a Child Passenger Safety Instructor and coordinate the Safe Kids NE MN coalition as well as the Driving 4 Safe Communities Safe Roads coalition. I am passionate about educating to prevent injuries and deaths at any age.
