- Bio
I have worked for the Safe Kids Missoula lead agency Foundation for Community Health since 2012. As a military wife, mother and grandmother, I have had the amazing opportunity to live, work and raise my kids in a variety of cultures throughout the country and in Turkey. I served two terms with AmeriCorps as a counseling psychology Fellow utilizing art as therapy with at risk youth and Campus Corps Team Leader addressing social issues of concern such as hunger, homelessness and HIV. Lifelong learning is a passion of mine, and I coordinated the MOLLI program at UM for five years at which time I co-authored a chapter in a cognitive fitness book, “Enhancing Cognitive Fitness in Adults”. I hold a Master’s in Managing Organizations and Human Development and serve on the Mountain Home Montana Board. My work with FCH allows me the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of those we are privileged to serve as well as work with kids on action based prevention education. Kids’ safety has always been a passion of mine and having the opportunity to work to keep kids safe is frankly, brilliant.
