Adrienne Gallardo

Bio

Adrienne is the Program Manager for the OHSU Doernbecher Injury Prevention Program in Portland, Oregon.  Adrienne completed undergraduate studies in Social Work and obtained a Masters in Organizational Management.   She has dedicated her professional focus on Injury Prevention and advocating for children and families.  She has been a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician since 2002, and an Instructor since 2012.  Adrienne has led the development of the Injury Prevention Program at OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital which includes an Injury Control program benefiting patients and their families along with an Injury prevention outreach program serving families across Oregon and SW Washington.  Adrienne manages the operation of the Tom Sargent Safety Resource Center at OHSU Doernbecher and the Braner Family Safety Resource Center at OHSU Hillsboro Medical Center striving to ensure injury prevention education and resources are accessible to all families across Oregon.  She presents locally and nationally in areas of child passenger safety, adaptive needs transportation, and program development.  Adrienne is the current chair of the Injury Free CPS Subcommittee, past chair of the Injury Free Safe Sleep Subcommittee, and currently serves on the Injury Free Coalition for Kids Board of Directors offering her expertise to support continued advancement of injury prevention services and resources across the nation.
