Mark Fenwick is Communications Manager, Safekids Aotearoa. Safekids Aotearoa is the national child injury prevention agency in New Zealand, where Mark has worked as a communications professional for more than 20 years. He read political science and history at the University of Auckland, graduating MA (Hons) in 1988. He worked in television and public relations before taking up communications management roles in municipal government and the publicly-funded health system in Auckland. He is the proud father, with wife Alexandra McKegg, of three sons. The two oldest are adults, with the youngest living at home with Mark and Alex (and their ageing cat). Mark feels privileged to be part of the international Safekids network and looks forward to working with members wherever they may be in the world.
