Hi,
I work as project manager for Prochild http://www.prochild.eu , an Italian NPO working internationally which has as its main goal the prevention of injuries caused by foreign bodies in children. Among our projects is http://www.safefood4children.org, a video course aimed at educating the population on proper food preparation in order to prevent choking in children (among the first causes of death in the 0-3 year range).
Among our goals for the near future are the implementation of prevention campaigns aiming at increase the safety of children at home and increase parent’s knowledge on child car safety, in Italy and beyond.
We currently have stable collaborations in Argentina, Mexico, Malaysia, India and Bosnia.
Prochild also has a long lasting collaboration with the Unit of Biostatistcs of the University of Padova and is managing, together with the University of Padova, the Susy Safe Registry http://www.susysafe.eu.
